What is the PACE Experience?

The week is meant to be fun for the whole family.  The entire family helps generate each day’s plan of activities since we are able to address a family’s concerns in almost any environment. Together we can explore new ways for your family members to learn about themselves and each other.

Daily Individual Consultation

Each day, you will be with one PACE Place professional for approximately 2½ hours in the morning and a different PACE Place professional for approximately 2½ hours in the afternoon.

Post-PACE Week:

Materials and Consulting

You will receive a formal report that will tie the week’s observations and recommendations to the goals provided by you prior to the PACE Place week. 

(Written Report).

At your request, interactions and conversations with the PACE staff can be recorded for you to take home.

(Week DVD). 

When your family returns home, the PACE Place professionals are available to consult with you by telephone and/or email.

Full Family Engagement

Unlike more traditional service delivery models, PACE Place provides a family with the rare opportunity for both parents to listen to the same information, at the same time.  PACE Place can be particularly empowering for fathers.
