Our children (both with ASD) are manipulating and controlling.  They each think that it is “my way or the highway.”  Of course, with BOTH of them thinking this way there is a lot of fighting and screaming at our house. 

Help us with our kid’s quick temper, bossiness, and frustration. 

Oh my gosh, my son is bossy.  It is so hurtful that he speaks to me so rudely and doesn’t care that he hurts my feelings. 

Our child has no impulse control.  If he wants something, he grabs for it and demands it and will not take no for an answer. 

Help my daughter learn how to handle her anger when she does not get what she wants or must wait. 

Our son seems to enjoy being bad.  Please help us understand this behavior. 

My son cannot control his own physical actions.  He cannot stop himself from hitting, pushing, and grabbing. 

I want my son to feel secure and unafraid even when he is NOT in control of everything. 

He must learn to stay with us in crowded/public places. 

He needs to learn to be gentle with our pets and his baby sister.
